Kenzo Shirai – brightest hope of gymnastics

Kenzo Shirai is 16 years old. The brightest japanese hope of gymnastics. At the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, only 14 years old boy won a gold medal on the floor excercise. In these days, gymnastic atheletes of Japan have really come up. Kohei Uchimura won a gold medal at London Olympic 2012. From 2009, he have been a world champion of gymnastics. People say Shirai would be stronger gymnastics athlete than Uchimura.

Shirai’s specialty is called “Shirai”. This means that he has the original technique. Shirai’s “Shirai” make a surprising twists. He called “Mister Twist” in world gymnastics scene when he succeed “Shirai” at first. In 2020, he will be 24 years old, the best time for athlete.

Yoshihide Kiryu – Notable Person for Tokyo Olympic 2020

Yoshihide Kiryu
Mr. Kiryu is the brightest Japanese track and field sprinter. In 2020, He will be 25, that is the best age of athelete. His best record of 100m is the surprising and he had got suddenly famous in 2011. He won the under-sixteen international title.

No Japanese have mark under 10 seconds in 100m. Kiryu is expected as the first breaker of the wall of 10. According to specialist of field and track, he would easily achieve that as he is only 18 now. Generally, Asian athlete are weak in short‐distance race. Kiryu’s past records in his teenage are really incredible and there is a big possibility that the first Asian medalist in 100m , highlight of Olympic.

Problems and homeworks for 2020

Japanese people welcomed a decision of Tokyo Olympic in 2020. Takigawa’s “Omotenashi” became the biggest buzz word in 2013. Then many topics around Olympic enters on media. First big topic was the renovation of Main Stadium. National Stadium in Tokyo is a memorial athletic court built for previor Olympic in 1964. From then, the stadium became a special place for many Japanese athletes. There are many opinions for this renovation. Shinichi Nakazawa, an anthropologist opposes this plan. He sais that this renovation plan costs too big money and bring a limited profit for particular camponies.
Another topic is the remark of Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe. His statement in Buenos Aires about the situation of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. He claimed “We regard the current situation as not being under control”. In fact, TEPCO official denied this. Japanese people criticized this suppressing of Abe and government.
Other anxiety is the sudden drop of cultural standard of Japanese. Extreme racists increses recently. We must solve them immediately.
